I have kangaroos and possums who devour everything I plant! I would like to try the soap suggestion but have not heard of Ivory soap in Australia. Is Ivory a brand name - could you let me know what type of soap it is so I can source something similar where I live?

We have a similar issue but with ferrel cats, not rabbits. They seemed to like our urban garden beds to um..relieve themselves and we couldn't keep them away. Finally we bought some cayenne pepper and that seemed to help do the trick. They still wander around the area but they are less inclined to use our garden as a restroom which is quite comforting considering we want our food to be edible!
